Getting to the institute from any part of Nigeria is both convinient and easy. Ilorin City can be accessed either through the Ogbomoso axis or Ajase-Ipo.

Entering the city from the Ajase-ipo axis, the institute is situated on right hand-side. A prominent landmark is the News Agency of Nigeria office.

For visitors who might be entering Ilorin from the Airport or Ogbmoso Axis, the by-pass (Asa Dam Road) is best advised as a short-cut to avoid the traffic within the city. Landmarks to watch out for are the Global Soap and Detergent Industry and the road leading to both the Asa Dam and the Kwara State House of Assembly Complex. The road terminates at Offa Garage Area into a T-junction. The left-turn leads back into the city while the right-turn leads to Ajase-Ipo road. MINILS will be seen on the left hand-side of the road after about five minutes drive.
