Library

Stocked with recent books, journals and other materials for academic research, education, enlightment and general information purposes, MINILS library is a haven for the ready mind. The library is a walking distance from the George Meany Computer Center, the computer laboratory. The serene environment of the library provides an atmosphere of studies for whatever purpose.

The library houses materials and other documented facts that may not be found in any academic institution in West Africa.The Ilorin academic community has identified the library as a major support service center for research and reference materials.

Computer Lab

In these days of electronic super-highway, our ultra-mordern computer lab is equiped with Internet facilities to supplement the printed materials in the main library.With the acquisition of VSAT and more computers and the current expansion of the computer center, users of the Internet services are assured of fast connection to the Internet. Furthermore, Internet users can now work in absolute privacy.

Capable hands are available to provide the neccessary support and assistance for people not familiar with computers. Short courses are also organized from time to time to build and develop skills in computer usage.

It is hoped that Internet access will be made available in the halls of residence very soon so that students and seminar attendees can enjoy unlimited access in the halls of residence. MINILS intends to pioneer the provision of Internet access to students and course attendees in the halls of residence in Nigeria.
